From a retailer and wholesaler of petroleum products set up in the mid 1960s, BTHomestead then known by a different trade name, spearheaded a change of its business in the late 1970s, and built what it is today.

An Investment in acquiring a piece of land in Kuala Lumpur, BTHomestead  successfully built on it a series of terrace and link houses in 1985 in which it was successfully sold out. Carrying on with the stride from here the group went on and ventured into condominium developments and embarked on its first development which was a 39-storey condominium project located in Mont Kiara. The project was yet another successful accomplishment.

BTHomestead has also diversified further and ventured into related businesses as in property investment, building and property management services and other businesses such as energy busines, trading and education services.
