The Malaysia subsidiary was founded in 2002 by Christoph Martin, who became the first Country Manager. The company’s first premises were in Damansara, Selangor until it moved to Sunway in 2003 and then onto larger premises in Puchong in 2007. Christoph Martin successfully managed the business until moving back to Germany in 2004. Shawnn Liew was appointed as Sales Manager in late 2004 and remained in that position to 2008. Early in 2009, he was officially appointed as General Manager and has remained in that position since to date. In the last 5 years, WIKA Malaysia has supplemented its organic growth with additional achievements such as ISO 9001 certification and expanding the calibration laboratory and diaphragm seal workshop. Aligned with the corporate IT direction, WIKA Malaysia implemented the DAX systems for smoother operation. With almost 11 years of experience, WIKA Malaysia is one of the region's leading vendors of pressure and temperature measurement instrumentation. WIKA Malaysia offers an extensive product line, including mechanical and electronic instruments and provides measurement solutions for any application in a large variety of industries. WIKA Malaysia also offers a broad selection of stock and custom instrumentation as well as dedicated services to provide customers with the right solutions, at the right time, wherever they need us.

In 2012, WIKA Malaysia celebrated its 10th anniversary and profitable sales have increased year on year for the last 10 years to a figure in excess of MYR20m. We are already looking forward to our 20th anniversary.
