128 Multi Slice CT Scan (MSCT)

The MSCT scan is carried out with adaptability in speed, resolution and power whilst using the lowest possible radiation dosage, reduced by up to 80% per scan. It is capable of detailed anatomical visualisation of bones, soft tissues and vascular structures for tissue differentiation to enable characterisation of diseases. The results are crisp, clear images with no motion artifacts.

A head to toe body scan immediately reveals fractures, bleeding and other polytraumatic injuries within 10 seconds, suitable for uncooperative and unconscious patients with short breath holds. This feature also minimises the pain and discomfort of conventional examinations in traumatic injury examinations.

Cardiac and cardiovascular imaging produces sharp images of even the smallest coronary vessels to provide the confidence to perform accurate stenosis measurements or stent planning with outstanding precision.

Cerebral Vascular imaging also provides excellent visualisation of intracranial vessels and cerebral lesions.

CT Colonoscopic procedures can now be done without the discomfort of conventional colonoscopy procedure.

Magnetom Aera 48XQ MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) using magnetic fields and radiofrequency waves are capable of high speed imaging of the blood vessels, spine and the whole body. Within 20 – 30 minutes, images can be retrieved to differentiate between healthy and diseased tissues of the body in order to assist with disease diagnosis.
