All Patrolling Officers follow a strict system of scheduled patrolling with a geographical plan for surveillance of the coverage area. The number of times for patrolling will depend on the size of the area and personnel are designated to patrol by turns.

Their duties include responding to calls for service, making citizens' arrests, resolving disputes, taking crime reports, other crime prevention measures and conducting traffic enforcement.
