Wide Range of Extrusions & Finishes

With up-to-date facilities and technical knowhow, the Press Metal Group has established itself as a major provider of a wide range of aluminium extrusions in a variety of finishes. They are widely used in fabricated products like windows, doors, curtain wall cladding for high-rise buildings and apartments, louvres, balustrades, pool fencing, solar panel frames, wardrobes, ladders and many others.

Bronze Colour Finish

Bronze-coloured aluminium extrusions can be treated in durable inorganic colours to yield a finish which is permanent, lightfast, abrasion and corrosion-resistant, and unchanging in colour intensity.

Fabrication

The possibilities of aluminium fabrication are unlimited. As a matter of fact, aluminium fabrication has made possible many household products like ladders, furniture, shower screens and many others, giving aluminium the nickname of the ‘wonder metal’.

Fluorocarbon

Fluorocarbon finishing is a high-quality process which involves thinly applying wet paint to aluminium extrusions via electrostatic spray to form a film which is further heated to polymerise and cure the coating. Fluorocarbon (PVDF) uses a 2-coat or 3-coat system where the electrostatic spray gun applies liquid paint two or three times onto the profile.

Mill Finish

Mill finish is the natural appearance of the aluminum as it comes out from the extrusion press. It comes with no external mechanical or chemical finishing.

Natural Anodized Finish

Aluminium is a corrosion-resistant metal due to the film of aluminium oxide which occurs naturally on its surface. Anodizing is an applied finish by an electrochemical process that thickens the natural oxide film on the aluminium and imparts to the metal surface its extreme hardness and corrosive atmospheric conditions respectively.

Polishing

Aluminium polishing can greatly benefit the metal, making it more durable. Polishing aluminium is a wonderful method which can turn aluminium products into new conditions with shining surfaces. There are typically two types of polishing – chemical polish and mechanical polish.

Powder Coating

Aluminum powder coating is the technique of applying dry paint to an aluminum product by electrostatically charging the powder and spraying it onto the product. The result is a material that is both durable and versatile, and can be utilised for nearly any purpose.

Wood Grain

Wood grain is the revolutionary new design of creating wood patterns on aluminum surfaces, which adds a natural and warm touch of elegance to building interiors. Multi-coloured and refined, wood grain is created by electrostatic spray, allowing the one-time meticulous caressing of power paint onto work pieces to provide a shiny and authentic feel like no other. It can be used for doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and many kinds of architectural and interior designs.
