Fully Integrated Operation

From upstream smelting activities to downstream extruding operations, Press Metal is a fully integrated producer of aluminium products. With three smelting plants in Malaysia alone, we have an annual capacity of 760,000 tonnes of primary aluminium production. Our PMB-branded aluminium ingots produced by our Samalaju smelter are listed on the London Metal Exchange as a high-grade primary aluminium product.

International Markets

All our primary products are marketed to Malaysia, South East Asia, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

P1020 Ingots

Our primary P1020 aluminium ingots are globally recognised and registered with London Metal Exchange under High-Grade Primary Aluminium grade under our PMB and PMS brand. P1020 ingots are used globally in many sectors as the primary material for creating aluminium products such as aluminium billets, aluminium slabs, aluminium rolls, etc.

Billets

Our primary 6-series extrusion billets are also fast gaining acceptance as an excellent raw material for the extrusion industry. We produce our primary billets in 4”, 4.5”, 4.72”, 5”, 6”, 7”, and 8” diameters.

Wire Rods

We produce Aluminium Electrical Conductor Grade Wire Rods with minimum 99.5% purity catering for the wire & cable industry. Aluminum is increasingly used as the preferred alternative over copper due to its advantages such as lightweight characteristics, corrosion resistance & high electrical conductivity characteristics.

Primary Foundry Alloys

Our PFA ingots are mostly produced for automotive industries for their car wheels production. We produce our PFA ingots under stringent conditions to meet the unique requirements of each individual customer. It is produced in ingot size of either 10kg / 22kg bundle.
