Kulai Iskandar Data Exchange (KIDEX)

The Kulai Iskandar Data Exchange (KIDEX) is 745 acres area designated to attract the development of Data Centres. The area is safely secured and equipped with abundant energy and water resources, all critical for the operation of international standard data centres. KIDEX has the full support of the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the Malaysian lead agency for ICT and Digital Economy growth, and its proximity and dark fibre connection to Singapore positions it as the major alternative Data Hub for the South-East Asia region.

Developed over the principle of live-work-play, KIDEX is the jewel component of the larger 7,290 acres of the Sedenak Technology Valley that will feature industries, retails and residences built to the theme of Industry 4.0, by adopting the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies, including cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, artificial intelligence and smart factory. In addition, KIDEX will also feature sustainable energy generated from the planned Solar Farm and CoGen Plant in the development area.
