TMM Engineering has successfully undertaken more than four hundreds (400) hot tap and online welding services since year 2000 throughout Peninsular Malaysia and oversea. The medium of line services are hydrocarbon, hot oil, paraxylene, HP/LP steam water line, nitrogen line etc.

Our company had experiences and capability to alter, repair, installation and replace valves or perform other live pipe modification to any plant piping system and transmission pipeline while its remain in services, under pressure and under flowing conditions. Fittings are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance to ASME Codes and Standard.

What Is Hot Tapping?

Hot tapping is a general method using an under pressure drilling machine to cut a hole in an operating pipeline which allows for a new branch connection from original pipe. The process is done without any product leakage or interuption of flow.

TMM Hot Tap Capabilities:-

1. Available in size range 1/2" to 48" diameter.
2. Maximum operating pressure up to 1480 psi (102 bar) and high temperature up to 700 F @ (370 C).
3. Power driven with pneumatic or hydraulic drives featuring a new level of sophistication and dependability.
4. Performed on a variey of angle tap, piping and vessel materials, and tapping materials that cannot be welded.
5. Performed on pipe containing variety of products.
